    Australian Renewable Fuels resumes biodiesel exports

    Australian Renewable Fuels (ASX: ARW) has resumed exports of biodiesel to the U.S. following the recent drop in the value of the Australian dollar.
    The first shipment of 5,700,000 litres of biodiesel is now en route and will be followed by another shipment of 5,000,000 litres in August.

    Australian Renewable Fuels restarts biodiesel exports to US

    Australian Renewable Fuels Ltd. announced June 21 that it has recommenced exports of biodiesel. The first shipment of 5.7 million liters (approximately 1.5 million gallons) of biodiesel is now en route to the U.S., to be followed by another shipment of 5 million liters (1.32 million gallons) in August.

    Lignol increases stake in major Australian biodiesel producer

    Lignol Energy Corp. announced March 18 that it has invested approximately $2.6 million to acquire approximately 356 million shares of Australian Renewable Fuels Ltd. as a part of ARW’s underwritten rights issue of approximately $8.31 million. ARW is the largest biodiesel producer in Australia owning three plants with a total nameplate capacity of 150 million liters (39.6 million gallons) per annum.

(LEC.V: Quote), a technology company in the advanced biofuels and renewable chemicals sector, Wednesday announced its participation in a Private Placement and Rights Offering financing undertaken by Australian Renewable Fuels Limited (ARW.AX) that would lead to LEC becoming one of the largest shareholders in ARW.

    Canadians can up stake in Australian Renewable Fuels

    Canadian biorefining company Lignol Energy has received regulatory approval to lift its stake in listed biodiesel producer Australian Renewable Fuels beyond the 15 per cent foreign ownership threshold.
    The Foreign Investment Review Board has greenlit Lignol to increase its stake in ARF, despite the company saying it was not yet committed to further investment. Lignol said it studying options for co-operation between it Canadian operations and ARF in Australia.

    ARF says bio-diesel is set to boom

    Bio-diesel outfit Australian Renewable Fuels is predicting a surge in revenues as it ramps up production.

    Australia's biggest manufacturer of bio-diesel, which made revenue of $2.87 million in the year ended June 30, 2010, is targeting revenues of about $130 million in the year ended June 2012, and some $190 million in the subsequent year.
